Brian Paulsen is a versatile multi-instrumentalist whose journey began at just 14 years old. He honed his skills through years of classical training—performing in jazz bands and holding the 1st Chair in orchestra bass—and gained stage experience in various theatrical and entertainment productions during his formative years.

Emerging into the vibrant Southern California music scene, Brian became a fixture on the renowned Sunset Strip, performing guitar and bass with both original and cover bands. In studio sessions, he established himself as a reliable first-call bassist, recognized for his solid grooves, adaptability, and polished musicality.

Brian's tenure with The K-Tel All‑Stars showcases his ability to anchor high-energy performances with skill and stage presence. He is also a sought-after bassist in acclaimed tribute acts—including Kenny Metcalf as Elton John and The Early Years, The Who Generation, Ultra Jones (Tom Jones tribute), Remedy (Black Crowes tribute), and The Who Revue.

Blending jazz sensibility, classic rock flair, and theatrical finesse, Brian brings a rare combination of musical depth, versatility, and onstage charisma to every project—making him an indispensable force behind some of today’s most exciting live performances.
