With over 40 years in the Southern California music scene, Larry Hampton is a veteran guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, and producer. A longtime session player and recording artist with Vineyard Music, he has also collaborated with multiple independent labels and toured extensively throughout the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

Larry has shared the stage with elite musicians including Liberty DeVitto (Billy Joel), Ricky Byrd (Joan Jett, Roger Daltrey), Damon Johnson (Alice Cooper, Thin Lizzy), Clayton Cameron (Tony Bennett, Ray Charles), Jeff Adams (Starship, Survivor), and Caleb Quaye (Elton John, Paul McCartney).

He has performed with numerous original and cover acts, opening for national artists like King’s X, and has been a staple of the tribute band scene for the past decade. Larry currently performs as Pete Townshend in The Who Generation and as Davey Johnstone in Kenny Metcalf as Elton, where he also serves as Music Director. Both bands have appeared on AXS TV’s The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands.

Additional tribute credits include performances with TLR: The Eagles ExperienceDog ‘N Butterfly (Heart), Space Oddity(David Bowie), Journey U.S.A.Mick Adams and The Stones (Rolling Stones), Ragdolls (Aerosmith), and Déjà Vu(Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young).
